The Taco Factory (Canton, MI)
You know those Mexican spots where the best part of the meal is the chips and salsa? How the rest of the meal is…ok? NOT the case at The Taco Factory. There’s much to dig here right from the jump.

I could eat chips and salsa all day so I rarely order an appetizer, especially at lunch. But once you see the menu picture of the Choriqueso staring back at you I’m pretty sure you’re going to do what I did- order it immediately without thinking about it.
And you should be happy about your decision. Just look at the flavor puddles melting off the chorizo into the queso pool. The bowl is too small to jump into so you can do the next best thing and dip a chip and drop it into your mouth. Smile. Enjoy. Repeat.
The tacos are a great change of pace from regular tacos at most other spots. And they are individually priced so you can mix it up.
The ground chicken has a more nuanced and lighter bite than chunks or shredded chicken.
I highly recommend ordering the chorizo and pastor tacos together - they are a perfect balance to each other. The pastor is tender and a great counterpoint to a heavily seasoned chorizo taco. Can you tell I really liked the chorizo?
⚡ Highlights
Choriqueso app. Chorizo + queso. How could you go wrong?
Street Tacos. Sold individually, so try a bunch.
Burritos. Ground steak is a perfect upgrade from the standard hamburger-meat-in-taco-sauce. Order with lite rice.
🌶️ For the Hot-Heads
The tables have three hot sauces (all solid options); red and green habanero sauces and Valentina (respect!).
🛏️ Don’t Sleep On
The salsas that come with the meals. The green and the red are both flavorful compliments with anything you order. Grilled onions are included on most plates (like pickles with deli sammiches) add a welcome crunch.
Papas Loca. Ever wondered what would happen if nachos and a loaded baked potato headed down to Mexico, got loaded on margaritas, and had a baby? Check out the Papas Loca. Baked potato slices topped with steak or chicken, bacon, queso, pico, etc. I mean, come on. Perfect app for sharing with a crew from the office…or just dominating as your lunch before heading back to the jobsite.
🫔 The Wrap
And if you’re planning on a boozy lunch (or dinner drinks) they have a full bar and know how to make a margarita. They even make margaritas to go…for the house, they aren’t roadies, this isn’t 1976.
